As part of the project, the Octavia Foundation and the young volunteers have conducted 20 oral histories - some with local notables and historians, others with the elderly residents in Octavia's care home James Hill House.
Few places in London have experienced such constant and dynamic change as North Kensington, many of the oral histories that have been provided testify to how communities deal with huge social, political and cultural change. With the connection to Kensal Green Cemetery, the religious figures of the local area were spoken to at length, whereupon they provided their reflections on the changing congregations.
